BioPeople who haven't known me since forever have actually been dropping by my journal lately, so I thought I'd add a few words to seem friendly-like.
I have, at assorted times, been a folklorist, a college teacher, an author, and an editor.
I live in the city, which I love quite desperately, and spend most of my not-work time running madly from one fun thing to another--music, theater, restaurants, museums. Sometimes I exhaust myself and fall down for a while, and when I do that, I read fanfic--thick, plotty fics about family and struggle. Angsty fics and funny fics and futurefics where things all work out okay in the end.
And, um, fair warning. I can be pretty damned boring.
